Adantra was established in 1999 by Ad and Anneke Berckmoes. For Ad, starting his own company was a dream coming true after being for many years an international truck driver of temperature-controlled goods. From the start, Adantra has been focussing on the international transport of temperature-controlled goods. Adantra has been specialising in the distribution and direct delivery of full and part loads to France and England coming from Holland and Belgium. Driven by a great enthousiasm and supported by an important number of clients, the company’s growth was made possible and Adantra was able to expand its services.
In july 2008, Adantra opened a new handling centre in the industrial zone De Vlaschaard in Eede. With this depot Adantra offers their clients a custom made service, 24/7, orderpicking, storage and crossdocking (temperature-controlled) goods.
On july 1st 2008, Adantra became member of the “Coöperatieve Transportondernemersbond” (CTOB) with the objective of being able to offer their clients a total package of logistics services in collaboration with the other members of the CTOB Group.
“It’s not our size that makes us big, it’s our service!”
